Sacha

Voice

Sacha is a highly accomplished singer/songwriter/performer and educator who crosses all soulful music genres. Moving from classic Soul and R&B to Jazz, and Electronica, this effervescent songstress has created an expansive repertoire of diverse music that is authentically all her own. She has captivated audiences from the U.K. to the U.S. and has performed in numerous venues across Toronto and the United States. Some of these venues include the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, Massey Hall, Koerner’s Hall, Toronto Centre of the Arts, the House of Blues (Dallas, Texas), and The Florida Theater(Jacksonville, Florida).  With #1 dance chart hits to her name like “On Time” in collaboration with U.K. producer Wipe the Needle and more recently “Summertime” with the legendary voice of Brutha Basil, Sacha’s music has been showcased on various radio stations and shows across the globe including Louie Vega’s Expansions, U.K.’s BBC Radio 1xtra, and Mr. Worldwide Pitbull's Radio. She has also been featured Nationally on CBC radio and  91.1Jazz Fm. Sacha has performed and worked with Grammy nominated singer/producer Josh Milan, Broken beat pioneer Ig Culture(New Sector Movements), West London production team Bugz In The Attic,  Disco/Soul producer David Lee(FKA Joey Negro), Swedish producer/remixer Opolopo, and Canada’s own Dj /producer Nick Holder to name a few. In addition to performing and recording, Sacha's musical versatility and skill has led her to become a faculty member at her alma mater York University, where she teaches Jazz vocal technique and repertoire development. Expanding her craft as an educator, Sacha became the musical director and arranger for the first A Capella ensemble at Centennial College's Music Industry Arts Program where she currently works as a Pop music professor.
