Alex S

Alex is a friendly and attentive teacher with over 15 years of experience. He graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and teaches both classical piano and contemporary pop-rock styles — helping students learn their favorite songs, explore harmony, and even compose their own music.

In addition to classical music, Alex is passionate about electronic, experimental, and dance genres. He is a member of the music project Tonkaya Sherst and works as a sound designer. He has experience working with children of all ages, including as the host of the educational program Big Music for Little Ones in Moscow. He has also served as a presenter for major cultural events, including the International Tchaikovsky Competition.

Outside of teaching, Alex enjoys calligraphy, cycling, and exploring Toronto. He believes the key to great teaching is support, attention, and the ability to explain complex things in a simple and engaging way.
