Camilo is a passionate and versatile music educator and multi-instrumentalist with over 20 years of experience in teaching, performance, and music production. Specializing in acoustic and electric guitar, as well as bass, piano fundamentals, and ukulele, he brings a well-rounded and dynamic approach to music instruction.
With a strong foundation in classical training and extensive experience across genres—including rock, funk, Latin American, fusion, and solo performance—Camilo tailors each lesson to meet the unique goals, interests, and skill levels of his students. He works with learners of all ages, from complete beginners to advanced musicians, in both one-on-one and group settings.
Camilo’s teaching emphasizes not only technical development—such as technique, improvisation, music theory, and reading notation/tab—but also creativity, confidence, and musical expression. His background in composition, live performance, and digital audio production allows him to offer a modern and engaging learning experience that connects traditional musicianship with contemporary tools.
In addition to his teaching work in music schools and private settings, Camilo has performed as a live solo artist, incorporating vocals, guitar, and live looping into his performances.
