Guitar, Bass, Drums, Theory, Production

Julian is a multi instrumentalist and producer who specializes in rock, metal, and classical. Currently in his final year of study in the Professional Music program at Toronto Metropolitan University, Julian's diverse skill set allows him to teach students to understand music from every angle.

Taking up the guitar at the age of 15, Julian quickly began writing his own music, beginning in the world of metal. Within 6 months he had also already picked up the bass, and began to layer them with programmed drums to create full instrumentals. By the time another year had passed, Julian had also begun to play the drums, taking lessons on all three instruments from two different teachers. Determined to grow as a musician, Julian wrote, recorded, and produced two full albums and a number of singles in his final year of highschool, including a complex progressive metal song that would land him a spot in Toronto Metropolitan University's Professional Music program. Out of hundreds of applicants, Julian was part of a class of less than 50 to be accepted into the program.

He would go on to greatly expand his musicianship and production skills, learning to play with a wide variety of musicians across different genres, and to produce music in ways he had never thought to before. By the end of his first year, Julian was blending his guitar skills with hip-hop production, a route he would spend the next few years exploring, seeing success in the freelance music production market. As of today, Julian has written music in a broad range of genres, spanning all the way from Pop, R&B, and Jazz, to Hard Rock, Prog Metal, and Death Metal. His mission continues to be to explore every corner of the music world, and teach his students how to succeed in navigating it themselves. Whatever your favourite genre is, Julian can not only teach you how to play it, but to write and perform the music you've always wanted to.
