Kai

Piano, Guitar Drums

Kai is a dedicated pianist and music educator based in Toronto who has just completed his final term in the Bachelor of Music, Honours in Music Education program at Western University, studying under Dr. Angela Park. During his time at Western, Kai performed frequently in recitals, masterclasses, competitions, and events such as the Music Open House and concerts in the Ivey Business School. His most recent accomplishments include winning the Rose Bowl Competition and the Fred Pattison Piano Competition.


Specializing in music education, Kai has developed a strong foundation in the psychology of teaching and learning, pedagogy, and the philosophy of education. His studies have deepened his understanding of how students learn and how to create inclusive, engaging learning environments for students of all ages.


Kai’s students have achieved success in piano exams and local music festivals. He takes pride in delivering lessons that balance technical development with creativity and enjoyment.


Outside of music, Kai has a wide range of interests. He played competitive hockey for 16 years and remains passionate about the sport. His other interests include golf, tennis, cycling, and woodworking.
