Kimia

Flute, Voice, Theory

Kimia is a classically trained flutist, vocalist, and music educator whose artistry spans continents and ensembles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Flute Performance from the Art University of Tehran, and her performance career is nothing short of extraordinary — she has performed with the Tehran Symphonic Orchestra, including landmark productions of Mozart's Requiem and Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, and has brought to life works by Poulenc, Samuel Barber, and John Rutter with the Tehran Choir's Orchestra. Her recording credits span classical, jazz, pop, rock, and funk, including studio work for animated productions.

As an educator, Kimia brings over a decade of teaching experience across flute, voice, and music theory — working with students from absolute beginners to advanced conservatory-level players. Her approach is warm, rigorous, and deeply personal. Whether she's guiding a student through their first scale or preparing a performer for the stage, she has a gift for meeting students exactly where they are and unlocking what they're truly capable of.

Fluent in Farsi and English with intermediate German, Kimia connects easily with students from diverse backgrounds, making her lessons as inclusive as they are inspiring. If you're looking for a teacher who will genuinely invest in your growth and make every lesson feel like a step toward something meaningful — Kimia is exactly that.
