Further enriching his musical prowess, Maicon studied at EST in Sao Leopoldo, Brazil. At 27, he pursued a music education degree in Porto Alegre at IPA, further solidifying his commitment to musical growth and pedagogical excellence.
It is Maicon's teaching philosophy that sets him apart. With over 15 years of experience, he has taught music to diverse audiences through group lessons, private instruction, cultural projects, community endeavours, and numerous performances. Currently based in Toronto, he offers private lessons on guitar, piano, drums, violin and flute, and shares his profound knowledge of music styles from Brazil with students in Canada.
His approach is rooted in individualism, customizing instruction to align with students’ values, interests, and aspirations. Maicon excels at identifying their passions and tailoring repertoire accordingly.
