Piano
Roman is an accomplished pianist, composer, and educator with over a decade of teaching experience. He has worked with students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced performers, consistently helping them achieve success in their musical goals. Roman’s students have earned top marks in Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) exams, with scores ranging from 80 to 88 across Levels 1 through 10 and ARCT.
A graduate of the prestigious Central Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory, Roman received intensive training in both piano performance and composition from 1999 to 2009. He further honed his artistic talents at the Institute of the Russian Theatre and George Brown College, where he studied Acting for Media.
Roman’s approach to teaching is rooted in practical musicianship and creativity. He designs personalized, engaging lessons that emphasize real-world repertoire and ensure students are making music from their very first lesson. His teaching style blends music theory, ear training, improvisation, and composition to foster confident, expressive musicians.
In addition to his teaching career, Roman is an award-winning composer with credits across film, television, and commercial projects, recognized at international festivals for his compelling musical scores. His artistic background in both music and acting contributes to his dynamic, communicative teaching style.
Fluent in English and Russian, with conversational skills in French and Italian, Roman brings a rich, multicultural perspective to his teaching.
