Sola

Violin

Sola is a dedicated and accomplished violinist with a rich background in music education and performance. Currently, she is completing a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics and Philosophy at the University of Toronto, where she has also pursued advanced coursework in music theory and performance. She is in the process of earning her Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto (ARCT) diploma, expected to achieve this prestigious qualification by the summer.

Sola's formal music training includes achieving First Class Honors in Grade 10 Violin Practical from the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well as a near-perfect score in Grade 10 Theory. These accolades highlight her deep understanding and mastery of violin performance and music theory.

Her teaching experience is extensive and impactful. She has lots of experience teaching private lessons and, for several years, Sola served as a Violin Instructor with a nonprofit organization where she provided engaging online violin and music theory lessons to students of all ages. This role allowed her to develop innovative teaching strategies that made learning both enjoyable and educational, fostering student discipline and enthusiasm for music.

In addition to her teaching credentials, Sola has significant orchestral experience. She played as the First Violin and Assistant Concertmaster with the Ukiah City Symphony Orchestra in California, demonstrating her leadership and collaboration skills within an ensemble. At the University of Toronto, she further refined her performance abilities as a member of the Skule Symphony Orchestra, contributing to a vibrant musical community.

Sola's dedication to music education and her passion for nurturing young talent make her an inspiring and effective violin instructor. Her expertise in violin pedagogy, coupled with her ongoing professional development, positions her as a valuable asset to any music education program.
