Sophie is a passionate guitarist, vocalist, and music producer based in Oakville, Ontario. After earning her Music Industry Arts diploma with honours from Fanshawe College, she quickly established herself in the rock and metal scene, with her productions receiving praise from top industry professionals such as Chris Baseford (Nickelback) and Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore). Her diverse background — which includes international studies, a law degree with distinction, and years of creative collaboration — gives her a unique perspective that she brings into every lesson.

As a teacher, Sophie absolutely loves helping students find their musical voice. Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time, exploring your singing abilities, or looking to write and perform your own songs, she will guide you with patience, encouragement, and a focus on what excites you most about music. Her lessons are designed to help you set and reach your personal goals, build confidence, and enjoy every step of the learning process.

In addition to teaching, Sophie continues to write, record, and produce music for artists and bands, blending technical skill with a strong creative vision. Her experience performing live, directing musical arrangements, and working in professional studios makes her a valuable mentor for students who want to perform or record their own music.
